In Loving Memory of Dr Louise Bleier 4pm Saturday 11th April 2026, Rex Smeal Park, Port Douglas Family, friends and patients of Dr Louise are invited to attend a memorial service to remember and celebrate her life, and her contribution to our community. For comfort, please bring a picnic rug or chair. Umbrella or gazebo if light rain. In the event of very wet weather, the venue will be Port Douglas Community Hall, Mowbray St (opposite Clink Theatre). Please check New Horizons for Health messages in Port Douglas, Mossman and Douglas Shire News and Views face book site for last minute updates. There will be an opportunity speak a few words if you wish, or to ask our lovely host Anna Soltwedel to share them on your behalf. Please give your words to Anna before the service in person or by email at [email protected]. No flowers necessary on the day, thank you. Optional donation in lieu to KIND (at Kind.org.au) in recognition of Louise’s love of children.
