BUSINESS FEATURE

This February, the Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort once again invites guests and locals to celebrate love, community, and exceptional culinary experiences through their highly anticipated Month of Love event series.

This year, the resort is taking things to the next level with a lineup of extraordinary culinary events and an exclusive locals accommodation offer.

The festivities kick off in grand style on 1 February with a Lúc Lắc Takeover Dinner at Lagoon House Restaurant.

Lúc Lắc, one of the hottest eateries in Brisbane’s swank new Queen’s Wharf, is overseen by Ghanem Group executive chef Jake Nicolson - known for his work at Boom Boom Room, Donna Chang, and Iris.

With Chef Jake helming the Lagoon House Restaurant kitchen, event attendees will be treated to a sumptuous feast featuring Lúc Lắc’s signature Southeast Asian-inspired snacks, mains, and desserts. The evening begins with a signature cocktail on arrival and is complemented by an exceptional selection of Shaw + Smith wines, ensuring a truly indulgent dining experience.

  • Harrisons’ iconic annual Girls Night Out
  • Harrisons takeover dinner with Ben Williamson of Agnes in Brisbane.

A focus on connection and community

Steve Molnar, General Manager at Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort Port Douglas, said the Month of Love embodies the resort’s commitment to creating memorable experiences for both guests and locals.

“We hope that everyone who attends these events leaves feeling enriched, whether it’s from the fabulous food they’ve enjoyed, the insights shared by our guest chefs, or the sense of community they’ve experienced,” Mr Molnar said.

“This year, our Month of Love program focuses on bringing people together over delicious food and drink – what better way to connect than over an amazing meal?,” Mr Molnar said.
