A 48-year-old man is believed to have left Yorkeys Knob to travel to Gordonvale when he went missing more than six months ago.

Police are appealing for information about Lindsay Randall, who has not been in contact with his family since Friday, September 20.

Mr Randall is described as Caucasian, with short, light-coloured hair and dark eyes.

The last confirmed sighting of Mr Randall was on Buckley Street, Yorkeys Knob, on Friday, September 27, when he was believed to have then had plans to travel to Gordonvale.

Police believe that he may still be in the Greater Cairns region, and are appealing for him, or anyone who may have information regarding his movements or whereabouts, to come forward.

Mr Randall’s family and police hold concerns for his welfare given the length of time since he has made contact or been seen.

If you have information for police about this, or any other crime, contact police at Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or crimestoppersqld.com.au.
