Man charged following reports of indecent act in Mossman park

A Daintree man has been arrested by police after allegedly being seen performing an indecent act with no clothes on in a Mossman park yesterday.

Mossman detectives arrested the 55-year-old after reports he was naked in a public park in Front Street at about 12.30pm on Wednesday, April 9.

Police further allege the man was seen by members of the public performing an indecent act.

He was found a short time later and charged with one count of undertaking an indecent act in public.

Police refused bail and he is due to appear in the Mossman Magistrates Court today, April 10.
