The Nature’s Wonders: Cairns' Flora and Fauna exhibition by french artist Ludwine Probst is set to open on November 1 at the Tanks Arts Centre in Cairns, showcasing the region's diverse and stunning wildlife through vibrant artwork.

Running throughout the month, this exhibition highlights the unique beauty of the tropical flora and fauna, inspired by the rich natural environment of Far North Queensland.

Ms Probst has a deep connection to the local landscape, which has shaped her creative process.

"Cairns is a paradise for artists,” she said. “There’s endless inspiration from the beauty that surrounds us every day.”

Her work seeks to capture the essence of the region, offering a visual exploration of the ecosystems that thrive in this part of Australia.

The exhibition also aims to foster a deeper appreciation for nature and promote conservation efforts, aligning with the community’s focus on environmental stewardship. Visitors will have the opportunity to engage with the art on a personal level, reflecting on the delicate balance between human activity and nature.

The Tanks Arts Centre, located at the Cairns Botanic Gardens, serves as the perfect backdrop for this exhibition. Its unique setting further connects the artwork to the natural environment it represents, making it a must-see event for locals and visitors alike.

Ludwine Probst’s Nature’s Wonders is more than just an art show… it’s an invitation to pause and reflect on the incredible natural world we are privileged to share. The exhibition runs until November 30.
