Like a lot of Douglas Shire experience and adventure operators circumstances have proven extremely tough following Jasper and the rainfall event that severely impacted the region.

In the aftermath to Jasper access along the Daintree Coast and more specifically to Cape Tribulation was cut or limited due to major landfalls and damage at both Noah and Alex ranges.

However, since Easter the Daintree Coast has slowly, finally re-opened with Cape Tribulation Road now open and accessible all the way to Cape Tribulation Beach.

More importantly tour operators in the Daintree Coast have been able to re-open, including bucket list experience, Cape Trib Horse Rides, which provides amazing horseback experiences through the Daintree rainforest and then along beautiful Myall Beach.

Newsport ventured out to Cape Trib Horse Rides to chat with Brendan, who after some very tough months, is starting to see a flow of guests wanting to tick this bucketlist item off in the Far North.
