The Douglas Shire continues to take stock and prepare for Tropical Cyclone Jasper, which a short time ago remained as a category one cyclone. Experts suggest it will make landfall as a category two cyclone sometime Wednesday across the Douglas Shire.

Newsport's Jamie Jansen took this drone footage of Crystalbook Marina just a few hours ago which shows an unusually empty marina ahead of Jasper's arrival.
