Over $12,000 was raised at this year's Salsa Sorensen Charity Golf Day with the proceeds handed out to various organisations last week. Many thanks to Jenni Sorenson and the rest of the team for what was, once again, a wonderful event.

Hineida Shortland and Naomi Arthurson from Wonga Beach State School P&C with a cheque for $1999.95 to go towards computer equipment and a coffee machine
Mel Farero and Lydia Clayton from KIND Inc. with a cheque for $1966 to go towards a new computer
Julie Lawson and Gail Jowett from the Clink Theatre with a cheque for $2000 to go towards upgrading stage lights
Sybella Salter and Rebecca Gawne from Tropical Animal Rehabilitation Centre with a cheque for $2000 to go towards a portable wildlife intensive care unit
Jason Fasano and Tyrone Ross-Kelly from the Mossman Sharks with a cheque for $800 to replace broken training aids
Heather Taylor and Reanna Nickenton from Mossman Support Services with a cheque for $1890.50 to go towards an ID card printer
