Delivering a new look FREE Newsport newspaper
Your Local Newspaper
Newsport today launches its new look free Newsport Daily Print edition, packed full of local news, social pictures, sports results and well supported by the local businesses from across Douglas Shire we all rely on.
The compact 12-page “news tablet” is free from all the same locations as before, but just easier to pick up and read, and take home for a local news hit in print.
As always, Newsport Daily online is there 24/7 and for free with the latest news from the region and surrounds.
Our journalists work had to bring you coverage on the diverse issues and stories in Douglas Shire and this first new look edition puts in print our efforts covering hot topics including the Daintree Ferry plans, the sale of Mossman’s locomotives, the debate surrounding the Port Douglas dingoes and a special look back at the impacts of Cyclone Jasper one year on.
Were you at the Carols Under the Raintrees event in Mossman? We were and we have a great collection of pictures from the event.
And the new print format means we can deliver more sports results and a full page of reader comments, letters and opinion.
You can pick up a copy of Newsport Daily Print for free from the following outlets: Mossman Newsagency, Woolworths, Mossman Print, Mossman Bowls, Mossman Hardware, Council Chambers, Cooya and Newell Beach Takeaways, Wonga Beach Servo, Daintree Village Cafe, Mason’s Cafe and, Port Douglas, IGA, Dulce Cafe, PD Newsagency, Coles, Newsport Office.
