A recent charity event has sold out bringing a night of singing, dancing and most importantly bingo to the Oaks Resort in Port Douglas. Hosted by the KIND Inc Foundation, the Drag Queen Bingo was a huge success with 130 attendees coming along for the night full of fun

Guests were treated to a buffet dinner followed by bingo with a twist put on by Miss Lady Saint Diva whose raunchy approach to the popular game left all entertained and often had the crowd on their feet singing and dancing.

This event is the first of the year for KIND Inc, a local charity that raises funds for kids with serious illness in the Douglas Shire. Event organiser Danielle Bellero spoke with Newsport on the charity event.

“The whole idea of this was to try something different for Port Douglas,” Ms Bellero said.

“Traditionally our fundraisers are things like Melbourne Cup events, so this is something different,”.

Overall with this event being such a great success for KIND Inc it wouldn’t be a surprise to see an annual return of Drag Queen Bingo in Port Douglas.
