A series of incidents were reported over the weekend, resulting in multiple patients being transported to Mossman Hospital for treatment.

Port Douglas - single-vehicle rollover

In the early hours of Saturday morning, a single-vehicle rollover occurred on the Captain Cook Highway at 5:15am. Emergency services responded promptly, and a stable patient was transported to Mossman Hospital.

Craiglie - single-vehicle crash into a tree

Earlier that same morning at 2:25am a single-vehicle crash into a tree took place, also on Captain Cook Highway. A male patient in his 20s sustained minor injuries and was transported to Mossman Hospital in stable condition.

Port Douglas - e-scooter incident

Additionally, on Sunday at 12:32 AM, an e-scooter incident on Davidson Street resulted in a young male patient, also in his 20s, suffering an arm injury. He was similarly transported to Mossman Hospital for further assessment and care.
