The Cairns Esplanade, from Aplin St to Upward St, will be closed from 7am on Sunday 18 June until 6am on Monday 19 June. Council has extended the closure to undertake maintenance works.

Parts of Williams Esplanade and Cedar Rd, Palm Cove, will be closed from 4am to midday on Sunday 18 June.
