Inaugural event
The AFL Crocs Pink in the Tropics inaugural event on May 7 was a huge success with $15,000 raised for the two charities Pink in the tropics and Prostate cancer research
Annie Richardson, committee member, said she was thrilled with the support of local businesses and the generous support of donations and prizes.
“I would like to thank the Major sponsor of the day, Next Business Energy,” she said.
In a surprise turn of events a very well-known international Icon also made a huge donation of $10K towards the day. The committee and Dean Scadding from Next Business Energy are truly grateful for this donation.
In a nail biting game the crocs won by 5 points.
Dean Scadding from Next Business Energy said it’s a fantastic effort by Annie and the committee to have such a successful Inaugural event and we are very proud to be part of it and help support the community and these two charities.
Thank you!
