Port Douglas’s Cafe Fresq is not just all about great food and quality “get your day started” beverages… they have also entered the entertainment industry.

Well, on the very small screen of social media, at least.

Already big promoters on their social media sites of Port Douglas and Daintree tourism, Cafe Fresq’s content creators have had some fun over the festive season producing quirky videos to capture everything that is great about not just themselves, but doing business in Douglas.

Fresq youngster Billy Conway may have got it pretty correct when he drew a picture and wrote what it is his parents Aofie Conway and Joanie Doran did at their work - “They work in the Cafe. They feed people. They cook what everyone likes, and they go home - but the Cafe Fresq team have gone a step further.

Their short social videos include the mad scenes when a chef hits the service bell, how baristas check if you like their coffee, and our favourite, training a “newbie” in the middle of rush hour.

If your business has been having some fun with creative content on social media, we would love to see it and share it with our readers in a celebration of all things wonderful about doing business in Douglas. Email your clips or links to [email protected]
