Mossman State High Schools Class of 2025

Mossman State High School's student leaders for this year's Senior and Junior classes have been officially inducted.

Max Bohm and Amber Schumacher have been announced as the 2025 School Captains.

The pair led the oath of office at the ceremony to mark the official beginning of their roles within the student council, with their fellow leaders by their side: Deklen Reynolds and Hayley Fischer in the role of Vice Captains, and Louisa Walker, Charli Padovan, Lani Enoch and Nanami Anderson representing the four school houses.

The leadership responsibilities throughout the year include planning fundraisers and hosting school and public events such as the annual ANZAC Day ceremony and the end of year MSHS presentation morning.

The senior leaders will take the helm as the group of 91 year-12 students begin their final chapter of high school.
The school captains spoke about their new positions in the school.

“It’s a great responsibility.” Amber said.

“A chance for us to give back to the students younger than us.

"Give them some of the experiences we didn’t have."

Max: “Hopefully we can work a lot closer with the Junior leaders and help change some things that we have wanted to change throughout High School.”

The ceremony also introduced the Junior leaders for 2025 and presented 2025 scholarships as well as announcing the Junior and Senior Dux for 2024.
