With the Easter long weekend just around the corner, locals and visitors alike are in for a treat as the Douglas Shire prepares for a packed schedule. From live music and raffles to bottomless brunch and wild animal adventures, here’s what’s on.

For the adults

Good Friday kicks off at Plantation Resort

The Easter long weekend gets underway this Friday at Plantation Resort Port Douglas, with live entertainment and themed specials to set the tone.

Local favourite Shannon Hunter will perform from 5pm to 8pm, while guests can enjoy the Easter Friday burger and beer special. A meat tray raffle will also run on the night, adding a fun community vibe for families and couples.

Due to Good Friday regulations, mandatory liquor license restrictions will be in place.

Easter Saturday: Bottomless brunch at Oaks Resort

Start your Saturday with a relaxed bottomless brunch at Oaks Resort Port Douglas, running from 11.00am to 12.30pm. 

For $59 per person, enjoy an all-inclusive brunch with Mimosas and Bloody Marys in a tropical setting, perfect for a laid-back Easter treat.

For families & kids

Easter family BBQ at Ramada Resort

On Saturday, April 19th, head to the Ramada Port Douglas for an Easter Family BBQ on the deck at 6.30pm. This BYO protein BBQ includes salads and dessert provided by the venue.

Easter Fun at Big4 Glengarry Holiday Park

Families can enjoy a weekend full of fun at Big4 Port Douglas Glengarry Holiday Park, with daily activities, a scavenger hunt, Easter colouring, and more.

Highlights include a pizza party on Saturday night, April 19, a pancake breakfast by the pool, and a big Easter egg hunt on Sunday, April 20.

Easter Sunday seafood lunch at Pullman

Pullman Port Douglas will host a relaxed Easter Sunday lunch from 12.00pm, featuring gourmet seafood, a welcome cocktail, live entertainment, and an Easter egg hunt for the kids.
