Mossman residents will soon see the return of face-to-face banking services as Bendigo Bank prepares to open a new branch at the Town and Country Shopping Centre on Monday, November 11. This move comes after the closure of the previous branch due to water damage caused by Cyclone Jasper.

Bendigo Bank Regional Manager Far North Queensland, Kieran Herlihy, said Bendigo Bank is committed to maintaining its presence in the Douglas Shire after water damage from Cyclone Jasper forced closure at the former branch location.

“We’re very much looking forward to welcoming our customers back,” he said.

“Building and fit-out works at the all-new branch are scheduled to begin shortly and we’re sure customers and staff will love the fresh, modern look and layout of our new Town and Country Shopping Centre location.”

In addition to handling general banking needs, the new branch will provide specialised services, including business and agribusiness lending, available by appointment.

The full-service branch will also offer assistance with new accounts, home and personal loans, credit cards, insurance, and investment advice.

“The new full-service and easily accessible branch features two offices for private customer conversations with banking specialists, plenty of easy parking and an ATM,” he said.

Lisa Russell, the Mossman Branch Manager, and her team are eager to welcome the community back.

The branch will operate Monday to Friday, with hours from 9.30am to 12.30pm, and reopening from 1.30pm to 4.00pm.
