Do you enjoy a murder mystery? Well the talented youth from the Centre for Australasian Theatre (CfAT)... known simply as #SUP have a show for you this Friday.

Up to 20 members of #SUP youth group in the intercultural and intergenerational theatre company active since 2012, have been working on their first short film over the past two months.

It will screen this Friday in Geraghty Park Hall, Julatten from 7pm.

The fundraiser screening at $15 a ticket with popcorn included, aims to raise money to go towards further creations for t#SUP youth group.

The #SUP group provides theatre classes for young people on Friday afternoons from 4.30pm to 6pm at Geraghty Park Hall.

 

Police seek fatal crash witnesses

A man has died following a fatal two-vehicle traffic crash in Mount Carbine on Saturday morning November 2.

Around 9.20am, a truck and vehicle were travelling in opposite directions on the Mulligan Highway when they crashed.

The driver and sole occupant of the Prime Mover, a 39-year-old White Rock man, was airlifted to Cairns Hospital for observation.

A man in his 20s, the driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, died at the scene.

Investigations into the crash are ongoing.

Any witnesses or anyone with relevant dashcam vision is urged to contact police.
