TWO IN A MONTH: Man wanders close to well known Far North crocodile
NOT AGAIN
Just weeks after a man was filmed fishing near the edge of a river in close proximity to a well known large crocodile sunning itself on a sand bank another male has now also been pictured hair-raisingly close to the same highly identifiable croc – ‘Clyde’.
It’s not clear if the man was working in the croc’s vicinity or simply ventured down onto the sand to purposefully take a picture of 'Clyde', but the encounters of people wanting to get closer to this specific, popular croc, are seemingly starting to increase.
The Babinda community is extremely fond of 'Clyde' and do not want a scenario in which a member of the public is hurt as a result of getting too close to the large crocodile, which then in turn leads to the removal of 'Clyde'.
Thank you!
