Students, teachers dress up old school to honour the past amidst 125 year birthday celebrations
CELEBRATION
It was a case of turning back the clock as students and teachers dressed up and wore clothing from a bygone era as part of Mossman State Primary School’s ongoing 125-year birthday celebrations.
The olden day dress up was deemed a huge success.
“It was so great to see so many students dress up in all eras and get excited about our 125th birthday, even the teachers got involved an event spokesperson proudly told Newsport
The birthday celebrations are set to continue with a lovely ticketed ‘birthday banquet’ at the Mossman Shire Hall on Friday, June 23.
A giant community fete will be held the following day, Saturday, June 24 at the school from 3pm.
The Douglas Shire community is invited to check out the amazing activities, stall and food/drinks on offer in what looms as a great fete.
