Aussie Hoops will kick things off for the under-10s and beginners at 3.45pm on February 8 which will be a ‘come and try day’.

On February 20th mixed under-12s and 15s kick off their season, while a men’s open competition will start in March and finish early August.

All games will be held at the cyclone shelter, at Port Douglas State School.

Meantime, Heat basketball has welcomed a timely arrival from Victoria who is set to become a key mentor for the younger generation of basketballers in Douglas.
